TOMBS Begins Recording New Album
December 7, 2010Brooklyn, New York trio TOMBS has entered Elmwood Recording studios in Dallas, Texas with engineer John Congleton (BARONESS, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, BLACK MOUNTAIN, ST. VINCENT) to begin recording its new album for a spring release via Relapse Records.
TOMBS released a 14-track collection of early material, tracks from the band's split with PLANKS, and previously unreleased demos on November 9 via Relapse. Entitled "Fear Is The Weapon", the set is strictly limited to a one-time pressing of 1,000 copies and is available through Relapsemailorder.

TOMBS' latest album, "Winter Hours", was released in February 2009 via Relapse Records. The CD was recorded at the Etching Tin Studios in Richmond, Virginia with engineer Ian Whalen.
